General
Location-- We
are located less than an hour south of Salisbury, Maryland and one and
one-half hours north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel from Virginia
Beach, Virginia. What
you find here and around our Chincoteague and Assateague B&B is nature's wonderland. It is the last undeveloped area on the
United States East Coast. An abundance of wildlife is found throughout
the seventy miles of Accomack and Northampton Counties. Combine these
counties and you have the Eastern Shore of Virginia, "Virginia's Best
Kept Secret". Also, we are a member of the Eastern Southern
Vacation Alliance whose listings provide accommodations for United States
East Coast Bed and Breakfasts and Chesapeake Bay Region Bed and Breakfasts
including Tangier Island Virginia. There is easy access to Tangier Island,
just over a half hour drive from our inn, where you can take a ferry to the Chesapeake
Bay Island of Tangier located twelve miles into the Chesapeake Bay.
