From Washington DC/Baltimore

Take 50 East across the Annapolis Bay Bridge. Follow Route 50 East and you will come to a split to which you need to stay to the left and follow the Route 50/13 signs. Continue on Route 13 South towards Norfolk, VA. Four miles after the Virginia State Line, turn left on Highway 175 East. You will continue along Highway 175, the causeway over the bridge to Chincoteague at the light take a right onto Main Street approx 1/8 mile on the left is the parking.

From Virginia Beach/Norfolk

Take I-64 East to Exit # 282, Northampton Blvd. (Route 13 North) to Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel cross to the Eastern Shore of Virginia and approximately 1 1/2 hours on Route 13, you will turn right onto Highway 175 East. You will continue along Highway 175, the causeway over the bridge to Chincoteague at the light take a right onto Main Street approx 1/8 mile on the left is the parking.

Our Chin located less than an hour south of Salisbury, Maryland and one and one-half hours north of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel from Virginia Beach, Virginia.

What you find here and around our Chincoteague and Assateague B&B is nature’s wonderland. It is the last undeveloped area on the United States East Coast. An abundance of wildlife is found throughout the seventy miles of Accomack and Northampton Counties. Combine these counties and you have the Eastern Shore of Virginia, “Virginia’s Best Kept Secret”. Also, we are a member of the Eastern Southern Vacation Alliance whose listings provide accommodations for United States East Coast Bed and Breakfasts and Chesapeake Bay Region Bed and Breakfasts including Tangier Island Virginia. There is easy access to Tangier Island, just over a half hour drive from our inn, where you can take a ferry to the Chesapeake Bay Island of Tangier located twelve miles into the Chesapeake Bay.
