If you’re ready to marry but don’t want a big wedding, elope on Chincoteague Island.

they walked off into the sunset and lived happily ever after

Elope on Chincoteague Island; it's romantic.

Big weddings aren’t for everybody. Some people can’t afford them, some people don’t like crowds, and still others simply want to share the moment with their very closest friends and family. Elopements at our Chincoteague Island Bed and Breakfast offer a nice alternative to large scale weddings.

A wedding certainly doesn’t need to be big to feel special. Our inn has a romantic, intimate setting that is ideal for just the two of you or up to fifteen guests.

You’ll feel the uniqueness of the occasion from the moment you first enter the inn and find chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the Bridal Suite.  We’ll arrange the wedding ceremony, with celebrant, wedding cake, and a bottle of champagne. Let us know the colors you prefer, and we’ll provide a bridal bouquet and a boutonniere. All you have to do is show up at the appointed time and say your vows.

During your stay, you’ll be pampered with gourmet breakfasts and Mimosas each morning, and an English Tea one afternoon. We’ll make arrangements for you to dine at the restaurant of your choice in town one evening. Any extra special touches you would like during your stay can be arranged.

Island Manor House accommodates 18 guests. With advance planning, you and your friends and family can have the inn to yourselves. If you prefer, you can enjoy privacy among strangers while your friends and family lodge across the street.

Our Chincoteague Island Bed and Breakfast is an easy drive from Baltimore, Washington D.C., Annapolis, or Norfolk VA. At the same time, our island feels like another world. It’s peaceful here. It’s romantic. It’s an ideal place for an elopement.
