Choosing a Chincoteague Inn

January 19th, 2013 by islandmanor

We know that you have a variety of lodging options when planning your trip to Chincoteague Island, and we want to make our case to you: Why should you choose Island Manor Inn?

1. Affordable Rates. Unlike the perception, our bed and breakfast is very near the price points of motels on the island, especially during the peak summer season. In fact, once you include a gourmet breakfast into the cost of a stay with us and the many free amenities we provide, you are usually breaking even with a hotel.

2. Amenities. We provide all kinds of little touches to make you feel at home, at no additional cost.

The dining room awaits guests for a gourmet breakfast, included in the price of your stay.

For example, we have a snack room with refrigerator, microwave, coffee and tea facilities, water cooler, plates, cutlery, cups and glasses and the ever important bottle and wine openers. There are also homemade sweets and treats here every day. Our game room has chess, backgammon, cards and other board games, along with the space to play them! And in each guest room, enjoy welcome chocolates, fluffy bathrobes, bottled water, make-up removal cloths and handmade soaps.

3. Free Beach Gear! We can outfit you with everything you need for the beach – so you don’t have to pack it! We have backpack loungers with rucksacks, beach chairs, towels, umbrellas, beach toys like buckets and spades and Frisbees. We also rent bikes and boogie boards. Add a beach lunch and you will be”good to go” for a full day at on the water’s edge!

4. A Personal Touch. We will provide concierge service for you – whether you want waterfront dining or a wildlife tour, we are dedicated to making your stay great! You are not a customer at the Island Manor – you are our guest! Plus, every time you choose a bed and breakfast for your lodging, you support a local business owner. Thank you!
