take a Chincoteague Island VacationWe here at 1848 Island Manor House Bed and Breakfast had a GREAT summer and we’re proud to have been a positive part of so many people’s Chincoteague Island vacations!

How do we know we played a part in so many fun-filled Chincoteague Island vacations? Because you told us we did!

We’re presently ranked #2 on TripAdvisor’s site for Chincoteague Island bed and breakfasts and the reviews have us blushing with pride – Take a look:

Our stay at the Island Manor House was absolutely perfect! This was our first time staying at a bed-and-breakfast, and we couldn’t have had a better experience! As soon as we arrived, Sam offered and upgraded our room to the “Royal Suite” because it happened to be available! The Royal suite was clean, beautifully decorated, and very private! Breakfast was absolutely divine! … We definitely plan on returning to the Island Manor House!

I cannot wait to return to Island Manor House. My husband and I stayed recently on a “parents only” getaway and we both cannot wait to go back. The rooms were clean, tidy and pleasantly decorated. The location is perfect and I cannot say enough about how wonderful breakfast was. One of the best I have ever had. Our hosts Lin and Sam were incredibly pleasant and I can tell they took a lot of pride in their establishment. Every one of our needs were met. Couldn’t ask for a better place to stay.

I wanted to get away from the busy city life, enjoy some beach time, and hike a bit. It was everything I needed. The Island Manor is a great B & B. Has all one would want, gourmet breakfast, friendly staff, and all the stuff one needs to go visit the ocean. Right on Main St. so shopping was easy.

Just lovely, thank you! Quiet but central location right across from waterfront, walk to many shops and restaurants. Everything you could want for the beach – bikes, towels, bug spray etc. Owners and staff so very kind and professional – breakfasts were gourmet events with variety of fresh fruits and delicious hot dishes different every day. One person at my table could not eat raisins (in the hot apple french toast) and a fabulous substitution egg-stravaganza appeared immediately. … I can’t imagine what more you’d want in a B & B, truly.

You see what we mean? How could we not be proud enough to share?
